WELCOME, NEW DEN LEADERS! The first thing you should know is that you are not alone. We are fortunate to have parents willing and able to dedicate their time and talents to help us succeed. Pack 17's Planning Committee is a great place to start if you have questions. You can email them at pack17@spearfish.com.
Please email us If you haven't received your Adult Application yet. We'll contact you and make arrangements to get this form to Council offices as soon as possible.
Cub Scout Leader Training consists of three parts. You can begin the Fast Start Training immediately online or request the video from the pack committee. The Council will schedule Basic Leader Training and Leader Specific Training this Fall.

Another source is the Black Hills Area Council in Rapid City. They can be reached at 342-2824. Or join leaders from Sturgis, Deadwood, Lead and Belle Fourche at the monthly roundtable meetings.
